Lake Charles runs full-hookup RV sites, including oversized premium sites, with 30 and 50-amp service in both pull-through and back-in layouts, so big rigs and longer stays both work. RV sites hold up to two vehicles; cabins allow one vehicle, and tent sites get reserved parking. Cabins, lodging, and tent sites round out the stay types. On-site you'll find a dog park, RV storage, laundry, restrooms, and showers, with free overflow parking. Overnight rates start at $16, monthly at $351.80.
You're off I-10 near Lacassine, with Bayou Rum Distillery right along the frontage road and the Lake Charles area a short drive west. The Creole Nature Trail runs year-round from sunrise to sunset for marsh and gator-country birdwatching, and the Lake Charles Boardwalk and Promenade lines the lakefront. Turn left at the stop sign
Cross over the overpass
Turn right onto Frontage Road
Continue on Frontage Road past Bayou Rum Distillery (on the left)
Drive approximately 1/3 mile and turn left onto Louisiana Cotton Drive
Follow the curve—you’ll arrive at Lake Charles RV Park
From I-10 Eastbound (Exit 48 – Lacassine):
Turn right at the stop sign
Immediately turn right onto Frontage Road
Continue on Frontage Road past Bayou Rum Distillery (on the left)
Drive approximately 1/3 mile and turn left onto Louisiana Cotton Drive
Follow the curve—you’ll arrive at Lake Charles RV Park
