Dolores River RV Resort is located at 18680 CO-145, Dolores, CO 81323. The park is approximately three miles outside of the town of Dolores, heading toward Telluride. Guests can access the resort via Railroad Avenue. For further assistance with directions or travel planning, please contact the park office prior to arrival.
Each site at Dolores River RV Resort includes space for one vehicle. Overflow parking is available for a fee of $10 per vehicle. Visitors must park in the designated overflow lot but do not need to pay a separate visitor fee. Triple towing is permitted, but additional vehicles, trailers, or boats must be disconnected and parked in the overflow lot. Car camping is only permitted in tent sites if the vehicle contains an onboard tent. Vehicles may not be worked on or washed using park water.
Change Your Reservation
We know plans can change! Call us at 800-689-6603 and we’ll help you adjust your stay. Text or email changes can’t be accepted.
Grace Period: Change within a few hours of booking — no fee.
Standard Window: Change your dates anytime before the cancellation deadline with no penalty.
Late Changes: After the deadline, changes are still possible (alteration fee applies), subject to availability.
Cancel Your Reservation
If you can’t reschedule, here’s how cancellations work:
Grace Period: Cancel within a few hours of booking — full refund.
Standard Window: Cancel before the deadline — $20 fee for short-term stays, $100 fee for extended stays.
Late Cancellation or No-Show: After the deadline, deposits are partially or fully forfeited (short-term: 100% of deposit; extended stays: 50% of first month’s rent).
Special rules may apply for holidays, events, or natural disasters.

Dolores River RV Resort is pet friendly. Dogs are allowed in most accommodations for a fee of $10 per dog, per night, with a maximum of two dogs per unit. Dogs are not permitted in the Airstream trailer. All dogs must be kept on a secure leash at all times and cannot be left unattended in any accommodation. Guests are required to clean up after their pets. Dogs are allowed at the beach and throughout the resort. Service animals are welcome everywhere in the park without a pet fee. However, if a service animal causes damage or requires excessive cleaning, the owner may be charged accordingly.
