One of the jewels of the Southeast, Lake Hartwell’s 56,000 acres of water and 963 miles of shoreline make it a favored spot for recreation. Another 25,000 acres surrounding the lake is devoted to easily accessible recreation facilities.

Direction Details

The resort is 2.6 miles from Highway 85. From the highway, turn toward Townville/Westminster onto SC 24, turn right onto Neal Ferry at the resort sign, then turn right onto Ponderosa Point Road at the resort sign and follow the road until it dead ends into the park. From Townville/Westminster, take SC 24 toward Highway 85, turn left onto Neal Ferry, then turn right onto Ponderosa Point Road and follow it until it dead ends into the park. The address is 400 Ponderosa Point Road, Townville, SC 29689.

Parking Details

Each RV site allows up to two vehicles. Overflow parking is available at the front of the park in front of the pavilion at no additional charge.

Reservation Changes

We know plans can change! Call us at 800-689-6603 and we’ll help you adjust your stay. Text or email changes can’t be accepted.

Grace Period: Change within a few hours of booking — no fee.

Standard Window: Change your dates anytime before the cancellation deadline with no penalty.

Late Changes: After the deadline, changes are still possible (alteration fee applies), subject to availability.

Cancel Your Reservation
If you can’t reschedule, here’s how cancellations work:

Grace Period: Cancel within a few hours of booking — full refund.

Standard Window: Cancel before the deadline — $20 fee for short-term stays, $100 fee for extended stays.

Late Cancellation or No-Show: After the deadline, deposits are partially or fully forfeited (short-term: 100% of deposit; extended stays: 50% of first month’s rent).

Pet Policy

The resort welcomes pets with no breed restrictions. Pets that are aggressive toward people or other animals are not allowed. There is currently no limit on the number of pets, but short-term stays with more than one pet incur an additional fee of $5 per extra pet. Pets must not be left outside without supervision, must be on a leash when off the reserved RV site, and must be cleaned up after.
